Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By using Asset Compressor (the “Service”), provided by NexixLabs, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

You may use Asset Compressor free of charge for personal and commercial purposes to compress, convert and resize images and videos and to remove image backgrounds. You agree not to misuse the Service, for example by attempting to disrupt it or by using it to process content you have no right to use.

3. Your content

You keep all rights to the images and videos you process. Because processing happens in your own browser, we never receive or store your files. You are responsible for keeping backups – especially before using the option to replace original files in a folder, which cannot be undone.

4. AI and third-party components

The background remover uses an open-source AI model (IS-Net, Apache-2.0 licence) and the video tools may use FFmpeg compiled to WebAssembly. AI cut-outs are automatic and can be imperfect – please check results before using them. Third-party components are subject to their own licences.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. While we work hard to keep results reliable, we do not guarantee that the Service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for a particular purpose.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NexixLabs is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Advertising

The Service displays third-party advertising. Your dealings with advertisers are solely between you and them.

8. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
